Marina served as Executive Director of the LEF Foundation from 1985-2000. In 2000 she began her own non-profit, Community Futures Collective and provides technical assistance and fund-raising help to grassroots organizations. She also administers the Advocates for Indigenous California Language Survival and the National Coalition to Fee the Angola Three and is Grants Advisor to the LEF Foundation.

Janeen Antoine, an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, came from South Dakota to attend Stanford University in 1973 and has been in the San Francisco Bay Area since then. She cofounded American Indian Contemporary Arts in 1982, and has served as AICA’s director since 1987. She has organized hundreds of exhibits, presentations, lectures and performances on native arts and culture, including the 15th annual Native Contemporary Arts Festival. She has served as an advisor, consultant or board member to many local and national native, arts and nonprofit groups and organizations and is currently on the board of the Community Futures Collective and an advisor to the International Indian Treaty Council and the Medicine Warriors Dance Troupe. She organizes a Lakota language class, produces the Bay Area Indian Community Calendar, and produces and co-hosts the hour long native radio program "Bay Native Circle" on kpfa 94.1. She speaks Spanish, French and some Lakota. "The well being of the native community is integrally tied to the ability to practice cultural traditions and exist in a positive social atmosphere where contributions are respected and appreciated."

L. Frank produces art that is cultural maintenance, she calls herself an art janitor and her title is Decolonizationist. L. is an author, an artist and co-founder of Advocates for Indigenous California Language Survival, California Indian Basketweaver's Association, and Neshkanuket.

Kate has served as the Secretary of the Konkow Wailaki Maidu Indian Cultural Preservation Association since 2003. This non-profit, affiliated with the Konkow Valley Band of Maidu, works to carry on Native traditions in the Oroville area such as ceremonies, hand games and indigenous language. She is a partner in JET Technologies LLC providing internet solutions including website design, web hosting and database development.

Andrea Hackin has advised CFC Director for the last twenty years. She is a certified and experienced Pilates instructor at her studio Body Aligned. Andrea helps ground the board in the physical and the practical.
